New Old Pen

One awesome thing about using and collecting pens as a hobby is that they are ubiquitous.

Today, I received a pen by Stevo. A student gave it to me, and I was so enamored by it that I forgot to say thank you.

This is not the first time I saw the pen. I've been eyeing it's tantalizing luster as it lies in disused at the chapel entranceway for months. Of all places to have envy, in chapel.

Well, now that it's mine, I can start to look more into the company and ink.

Overall, it's a pen. It writes. I think it might be a gel pen. But I am not a big fan of the 0.5 thickness. It is to thin and feels scratch on paper. I find, because I am left handed, that 0.5 point pens skip especially for longer typing sessions.

The pen is from Rifle Paper Co. Which apparently started in Florida from a watercolor painter what wanted to sell their design through stationary.

Whatever the case, this new pen will be part of my daily rotation.
