Thinking & Non-Thinking Tasks

For audio, I usually pair intellectually-stimulating audio with non-thinking tasks. And non-thinking audio with thinking tasks. So for homework and studying for example, I would listen to classical music. No lyrics. I can enjoy the music while putting all my mental bandwidth on the homework. Or something that I've already listened to. I would listen to podcasts and audiobooks when I am doing something tedious and boring. So, folding clothes, prepping and cutting veggies for meals, cleaning my living room. It's just magic. When I am listening to a good audiobook, by the end of the chapter, my living room is clean, the washing machine is running through a cycle, and the clean dishes in the drying rack are put away in their proper shelves and drawers.
